The Omega Seamaster Chronometer Electronic f300Hz ref. 198.001 is one of the most interesting Omegas of the 1970s: a tuning-fork chronometer with the famous red f300Hz tuning-fork logo, a brushed silver linen-effect dial with applied baton indices, a date window at 3 and a smooth sweeping seconds hand. It suits collectors who want a vintage Omega with real horological history.
Inside is the Omega calibre 1250 electronic tuning-fork movement, chronometer certified, which hums at 300 Hz instead of ticking. This piece was in mint condition, sold as the watch only on an aftermarket leather strap.
